Israeli air force pilots conducted a joint exercise with Bulgarian pilots in Plovdiv on June 4th, 2013. Bulgarian special police forces were in charge of the Isreali air force representatives’ security.
The exercise was planned prior to the resignation of the former Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
Israel ambassador to Bulgaria Shaul Kamisa-Raz was present, as well as high ranking representatives of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence.
