HP with a new customer centre in Bulgaria

With BG daily news online you can find out that HP has launched a new service center in Sofia, which will open 800 working places. It is the first center of HP in Europe, which will provide remote IT services on a regional basis.

“Client Center in Germany, where we are now is the first and only as an investment at the time that HP does, and it happens in Sofia,” said Preslav Pavlov, director of “Remote service” in the global center of HP.

“The center is unique because of one place will provide comprehensive technology services to our customers in Germany, but also for the fact that talented Bulgarian IT specialists will ensure smooth operation of complex IT infrastructures of German companies from the financial sector, industry, utilities and telecommunications services”, he added.

The idea of building customer center began in 2011, said Michael Eberhardt, vice president of HP Germany. He said they had decided not to choose the cheapest option, but they wanted to have the most effective service center in Europe. The reasons for the choice of investment in Sofia Eberhardt said was the company’s good cooperation with the government and universities, and the proximity to customers.

For his part, the Minister of Economy Assen Vassilev said that the IT industry in Bulgaria has managed to evolve from an industry that makes outsourcing based on low price to an industry that creates specialized services and added value and efficiency.
